 Official Rules of the 1580 KGAL / 920 KSHO Picture Contest

1.        Entries

1.1.      Qualified Entry

1.1.1.       Digital pictures meeting Contest Minimum Quality Standards. High quality jpg files preferred (most digital camera's will meet this standard). The key to standards: Not Blurry, not to dark nor too light.

1.1.2.      Standard Glossies may be mailed to station at P.O. Box 749, Albany, 98321 ATN: Picture Contest. Said glossies must meet Contest Minimum Quality Standards

1.1.3.      Digital pictures will be emailed to link on www.kgal.com in the contest section.

1.2.      One picture entry per day per person

1.3.      Every qualified entry must contain: Name, Address, phone number and email address. Mail in entries need not have email address.

1.4.      Entries taken starting September 3rd, 2006.

1.5.      Entries must be receive by 11:59 pm, September 30th, 2006

1.6.      Picture of the week announced Friday, September 15th , 2006, Friday September 22nd,. Friday September 29th and the Final Picture of the week announced Friday, October 6th, 2006

1.6.1.      Picture of the week winner wins KGAL prize package with a minimum $50.00 value. 

        Week one value $210.00. Consisting of the following: Tickets (a $160.00 value) to the Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular in October at the Rose Garden plus $50.00 worth of Gift Certificates from local restaurant or other local gift certificate.

 Grand Prize Drawing will be a drawing consisting of all valid entries. Grand Prize Drawing will be held on October 9th during the Morning Update on 1580 KGAL.

2.        Prize Distribution

2.1.      Web Picture of the Week

2.1.1.      Best picture of the week will be determined by judging panel.

2.1.2.     Picture will be featured on www.kgal.com.

2.1.3.     Weekly Prizes:  May include: Ringling Brothers Circus Tickets, Figure Skating Championship Tickets, Shed Café Gift Certificates plus other prizes as determined by KGAL / KSHO Radio

 

   Limitations

3.1.      Picture publication and ownership rights are owned by contest holder

3.2.      Non digital pictures will not be returned

3.3.      Picture may be reproduced in digital or published form by contest holder for publication

3.4.      Contest winners responsible for all state and federal taxes on winnings
